Los ciegos no pueden ser salvados por los ciegos. Los indigentes no
pueden ser auxiliados por los indigentes. ¿Cómo puede alguien que es
indigente y desamparado aliviar el sufrimiento y dolor de otro? Los
pobres deben dirigirse a los pudientes, los ricos. Los ciegos deben
buscar la guía de alguien que pueda ver. Quien esté atado y
enceguecido por las dualidades de la creación, tiene que refugiarse en
el tesoro inagotable de la compasión, el poder y la sabiduría, es
decir el Divino Atma. Así podemos librarnos de la pobreza de la pena,
deleitarnos en la riqueza de la dicha espiritual, y alcanzar la meta
de la existencia humana. Esta consumación se gana mediante la Gracia
del Señor.

The blind cannot be saved by the blind. The destitute cannot be helped
out by the destitute. How can a person who is destitute and helpless
remove the poverty, suffering, and pain of another? The poor must
approach the affluent, the wealthy. The blind must seek the guidance
of a person who can see. One who is bound and blinded by the dualities
of creation has to take refuge in the inexhaustible treasure of
compassion, power, and wisdom, namely, the Divine Atma. Then, one can
get rid of the destitution of grief, revel in the wealth of spiritual
bliss, and attain the goal of human existence. This consummation is
won through the Grace of the Lord.
