Nuestras necesidades egoístas tienen que ser sacrificadas. Debe haber
esfuerzos constantes por hacer el bien a los demás. Tu deseo debe ser
establecer el bienestar del mundo. Con todos estos sentimientos en el
corazón, debes meditar en el Señor. Este es el camino correcto. Si los
grandes hombres y los que revisten autoridad están así dedicados al
servicio de la humanidad y a promover el bienestar del mundo, los
ladrones llamados pasión, odio, orgullo, celos, envidia y vanidad no
invadirán las mentes de las personas comunes; los valores tales como
la Rectitud, la Compasión, la Verdad, el Conocimiento y la Sabiduría,
estarán a salvo de todo daño. Los seis enemigos interiores, llamados
Arishadvarga, sólo pueden ser erradicados mediante las enseñanzas de
las almas grandes, el amor por Dios, el conocimiento del Señor y la
compañía de los santos y los grandes.

efforts to do good to others. Your desire should be to establish the
welfare of the world. With all these feelings at heart, you must
meditate on the Lord. This is the right path. If great men and those
in authority are thus engaged in the service of humanity and in
promoting the welfare of the world, the thieves of passion, hatred,
pride, jealousy, envy and conceit will not invade the minds of common
people; the values such as Right Conduct, Mercy, Truth, Love,
Knowledge and Wisdom will be safe from harm. The six internal foes
called the Arishadvarga can be uprooted only by the teachings of great
souls, love of God, knowledge of the Lord and the company of the holy
and the great.
