Una de las más importantes virtudes a cultivar es la fe, inconmovible
e invariable — fe en los Shastras (sagradas escrituras) y en los
códigos morales que contienen, así como en el Atma y en tu Guru
(preceptor). Las escrituras están diseñadas para asegurar la paz y la
prosperidad del mundo, y la perfección espiritual de la humanidad.
Ante todo tienen esta grandiosa meta, y muestran el camino para su
realización. Así también, debes depositar tu fe en las sagradas
escrituras, en los Gurúes (preceptores) y en los mayores. Los Gurúes
son ciertamente dignos de adoración, porque nos muestran el
Shreyomarga (el camino de la satisfacción suprema). Quien tenga tal fe
invariable, logrará esta sabiduría.
